This position is remote and working with multiple large enterprise clients.  This position will have a heavy focus on Unified Communications and will require a high level Project Manager that thrives in a hectic client facing role.   Must be able to manage projects independently with very little support other than the team they are running.  In addition this person must be able to build client trust with their technical knowledge and personal skills.

 

SUMMARY
Working for a project management and engineering team that provides subject matter expertise. The Project Manager will lead large, complex engagements involving multiple Project Managers/Engineers/Vendors/Partners as well as effectively perform Project Management duties on limited engagements as needed. Strong, demonstrable experience presenting progress reports and other critical project communications with customers is required and will be a regular responsibility.

 

  • Manages large group of project staff, possibly in multiple locations, including project managers, project engineers, vendors, subcontractors or partners for the duration of the project/program.
  • Works with the Customer/account team to determine project/program goals and objectives.
  • Works independently.
  • Work is reviewed at critical project/program milestones.
  • Requires professional PM certification, PMP, ESi, or equivalent.
  • Experience with and advanced knowledge of Cisco UC tools and services – the broader the better – e.g. UCM, UCCE, UCCX, HCS. Migration experience is a huge plus especially with multiple locations and high number of endpoints.
  • Typically requires BS/BA degree or equivalent plus 3-5+ years related experience in networking/telecommunications industry
  • Accountable for the successful implementation of large, or multiple medium/large customer deployments with complex project objectives, including the delivery of the total business solution on time, within budget and to the customer’s satisfaction.
  • Influences senior-level decision-makers and customers.
  • Interacts with the customer, Engineers, subcontractors regarding project/program direction.
