Summary:
A Network Analyst will be able to perform basic tasks of research, problem solving, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues in the infrastructure and network areas.  They will perform assigned tasks with limited assistance from more experienced staff. The job will require working with different hardware and software platforms. 

Position Requirements:
4 year degree and/or work experience.  A combination of both is preferred
Knowledge and experience administering Cisco Unified Communications 
Working experience with Cisco VOIP systems and Call Manager.
CCNA certification would be a differentiator.
Installation, configuration and operation of Cisco network hardware and software.  
General knowledge of wireless networks, specifically Symbol and Cisco Meraki wireless platforms 
Proven strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Good analysis, problem-solving and solution skills
Creation of small project plans
Knowledge of wholesale or retail operations is a plus
Familiarity with SolarWinds Monitoring platform suite is a plus

Position Responsibilities include:
Monitoring of network utilization and equipment
Incident resolution working  with Level 1 and Level 2 NOC personnel as well remote Division IT resources.  
Install and configure Cisco switch and router hardware.
Install, configure and monitor networked UPS hardware  
Analyzing network capacity and constraints and providing solutions
Design and implement simple changes to configuration of network devices
Troubleshooting technical network issues using logical problem solving techniques
On-Call rotation
Off-Hours work as installs and processing schedules dictate
Key success factors for this position are initiative and the ability to pick up new technologies
