GDH is currently seeking an Project Engineer for one of our clients.

·    Product line expert able to articulate product offerings and key features to business and technical users
·Lead designs and the development of new products and adaptations of existing products
·Conduct necessary research incidental to design and product application
·Design and troubleshoot hydraulic performance issues associated with winch performance
·Develop detailed designs planetary gear drives
·Coordinate the design and accuracy of structural analysis on components and winch systems
·Utilize 3D Modeling Software to create and analyze designs
·Create and or direct the detailed drawings and Bill of Materials of new parts and assemblies as required
·Complete design projects and manufacturing process changes from planning, calculation and design analysis, testing, evaluation and implementation necessary for successful project completion
·Utilize and mentor the use of Six Sigma, DFSS, and Lean tools throughout the design and validation process
·Develop, maintain, and present project metrics: cost, performance, milestone/timeline as directed
·Identify, prioritize, and coordinate resolution of Purchasing, Production, and Quality Assurance issues as appropriate
·Occasional travel to customer sites to perform initial installation and review product performance
·10+ Yrs. design experience in related industry
· Manager / team lead experience
 Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
