Senior Analyst, IT Data Center Operations

Job Description:
Performs IT functions such as design, analysis, evaluation, testing, debugging and implementation of applications programs supporting company business processes and operations. Provides operational support for systems hardware, peripherals and software within data centers and related facilities. Identifies, isolates and resolves problems. Works in conjunction with the technical support staff to implement immediate resolutions to more critical problems. Monitors and manages systems consoles for the following: problems, systems availability, production scheduling and control, reports distribution, service level support, administration and controls, equipment operation, backup recovery, procedural documentation and execution of the disaster recovery plan. Principal responsibilities include:
-Team/project leader on one or more initiatives or projects
- Play a proactive role in developing and applying new approaches to data center management
- Provides limited guidance and leadership to lower level team members; develops and conducts technical training programs
- Supports multiple activities related to the Data Center infrastructure
- Performs data analysis and provides recommendations in presentation format in support of IT projects
- Evaluates implemented solutions and practices, identifies opportunities and recommends solutions for continuous improvements
- Performs a variety of complex tasks with regards to the development of processes, procedures, automation tool implementation, and deployment of software tools
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of information systems technology
- Works with users, cross-functional technical staffs and all levels of management to translate requirements into documented processes and procedures
- Acts as liaison with other cross-functional groups and management personnel to ensure accuracy and timeliness of production and non-production activities
- Provides operational support for data backups and specific software products and tools deployed within data center 

Job Requirements:
• Administer Jira on premise system, including access control, group maintenance and customization. • Administer Confluence on premise system, including access control, group maintenance and customization. • Manage users in windows Active Directory and LDAP directories. • Administer RSA token system for VPN access. • Provide support for the tools and applications. • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in written form; especially technical concepts. • Ability to work well as a member of a large team spanning multiple cultures and time zones. • Plan, coordinate and execute tasks related to design, layout, and functions of various product related systems and infrastructure. • High self-motivation and ability to learn multiple technologies and software applications with little supervision. • Improve existing processes and/or develop new processes to improve efficiency where needed. • Manage software, servers and storage the team is responsible for. • Understand building systems and infrastructure from the ground up

• Excellent (written and spoken) communication. • Excellent system, software and network troubleshooting skills. • Linux system administration and management experience • Programming experience (e.g. Python, Ruby, Java, C++, C#, other) • Experienced Linux/Unix administration and installation (e.g. CentOS 6+, RHEL 6+, other) • Experience with Windows administration (Active Directory, RDP, other) • Experience with databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, Mysql, MongoDB, SQL Server) • Experience with infrastructure such as DNS, LDAP, email relays, etc. • Experience with virtualization and cloud computer (Openstack, VMWare VSphere, ESXI, vCenter) Desired: • Experience with configuration automation systems (Puppet, Chef, Salt). • Experience with SCM tools (git, mercurial)
