Software Systems Engineer - IV (Wireless IT)
BS in Computer Science or related field
Must have over 10+ years of experience in the Software Development Industry.
Must be a strong Java/J2EE developer having experience in developing large world class solutions.
Demonstrates hands-on experience in the development and testing of high performing applications.
Experienced with Various J2EE application servers like WebSphere, Tomcat and Springboot.
Demonstrates hands-on experience in UNIX (preferably Sun Solaris) environment and related UNIX utilities including shell scripts and CRON.
Experiences with Databases preferably Oracle.
Experience with BPMS systems. Experience with Activity BPMS will be a plus.
Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel.
Must have knowledge of XML schemas, JIRA, Confluence,Git and Stash.
Must be able to handle medium to large complex programming tasks
Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
Must have experince in authoring design documents
Work with offshore development resources from the VDSI Team.
Critical Thinking /Project Management - Able to analyse issues / gaps and provide solutions without impacting the project deliverables. The candidate will also be involved in the data modeling activities for the team. Interact with Analyst, QA leads, Operation leads to ensure the deliverables are aligned. Work with staff members to ensure solid designs and follow the software development life cycle standards. The candidate will follow the current Coding Standards and make sure code reviews are performed.
