**CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT PROCESS ENGINEER***
Job Description: The configuration management process engineer is responsible for establishing, documenting, and supporting the configuration management process. This includes configuration identification, maintenance, verification, and audit.
?Assist with defining and documenting Configuration Management processes and procedures
?Define and document integration with other processes related to Configuration Management to ensure that Configuration Items are effectively maintained throughout their lifecycle
?Define ITSM tool functional requirements to support Configuration item lifecycle management
?Create and support Configuration Management audit process to ensure cleanliness and reliability of configuration data
?Participate in design and ongoing modification of CMDB Service Model ?Implementing the Configuration Management process for establishing and maintaining consistency
?Provide Configuration Management oversight to verify that systems perform as intended
?Assist in the day to day run activities for the Configuration Management Team (researching Configuration Items, metrics, participating in Change Advisory Board meetings)
?Assist with training stakeholders on configuration management process and procedures.
?Review, analyze, and document the effectiveness and efficiency of existing Configuration Management related processes/procedures and assist in developing strategies for improving or further leveraging these solutions. ?Conduct preliminary reviews to define needs and determine feasibility of design.
?Ensure necessary Configuration Management support documents exist and is maintained.
?Apply use of tools to identify or refine requirements such as data modeling, use case analysis, workflow analysis, and functional analysis.
?Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
?ITIL Foundation certification Experience:
?Minimum 3 years related experience
?Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially the ability to communicate on abstract concepts to technical and non-technical audiences ?Ability to communicate confidently and clearly on conference calls, in meetings, via email, etc., with support teams and leadership.
?Experience with a major ITSM platform or SeviceNow experience is helpful, but not required
