Network Security Sr Advisor
The Information Technology and Security Compliance Support Professional is responsible for assisting with the coordination and facilitation of periodic audit and compliance activities. The support professional works to ensure that audit and related compliance requests and tasks are addressed accurately and in a timely manner. In addition, the information technology and security compliance support professional will work across internal technical teams to translate compliance and regulatory requirements into controls, processes and systems. The information technology and security compliance support professional maintains document repository systems and facilitates meetings and timelines to ensure achievement of the customer’s compliance objectives.
• Ability to self-manage work schedule to ensure timely delivery of audit and compliance services • Critical thinking and problem solving skills • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on information technology operations experience and a strong knowledge of security standards • Experience with information technology and security, internal & external audits spanning to include the following: SSAE16 SOC1 Type 2 SSAE16 SOC2 Type 2, SOX, PCI-DSS, HIPPA, ISO/IEC 27001:2005, EI3PA, or similar • Strong understanding and application of frameworks such as COBiT, COSO, ISO/IEC 27001:2005, etc. • Strong understanding of IT general controls • Ability to work within a fast paced environment within an ITO organization • Strong interpersonal relationship building and business acumen Desired Skills / Certs: • Strong oral and written communications • Experience working in a matrixed cross functional environment within a service organization • 1 of the following professional certifications: CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, ITIL, GSNA, GRCP, etc.
