IT Applications Specialist: 

 This position will provide in house IT leadership in the delivery and support of various oil and gas accounting systems.  Will work with end users, vendors, business management,  and IT staff to fully support upstream oil and gas accounting systems. 

Will work with key accounting personnel to solve business problems using the various systems and assist end users in use of the products.

Will work with vendors to schedule updates and releases or new versions or enhancements.

Will work with IT staff to coordinate implementation.

Will work with all parties for problem resolution as needed

Will work with all parties to evaluate new systems, or enhancements, or upgrades.

 

job requirements

Prefer experience with Bolo Software by Wellpoint Systems, or Excalibur Software, or any oil and gas accounting system

Must have a thorough understanding of upstream oil and gas accounting systems.

Must be well organized, able to multi-task, and work under pressure

Must possess excellent communications skills.

5+ years experience.  Degree required.
